BEFORE | In need of a trim!

It has been 12 months since my last hair appointment….and 6 months since my at home hair dying disaster.  I made the cardinal sin of dying….Feria Hair Dye!  For those of you not aware, Feria, for some unknown reason, uses metal in their hair dyes.  Therefore, if you dye your hair with it, then try to lift the color, your hair will fall out.   Paralyzed I just let it grow out to dismal results.

When I met Alyssa from the only exclusive bumble and bumble salons Pittsburgh, Verve 360, she offered to save my do and give me a long needed edgy update.  Relieved, I trusted her hair expertise to revitalize my look.  I also felt great knowing Verve was a holistic salon, exclusively using the amazing Bumble and Bumble hair care line.

The plan…loose 2 inches, dye my roots, give me some bangs, and add some ombre highlights.

For my finished look she applied tonic lotion to detangle,  grooming creme for some structure,

defrizz for smooth shine, and surf spray for a tousled beach-y look!
