My Verve Transformation: Part 2

I have to say before my Verve Makeover featuring new bangs and an ombre dye, I was a little down in the dumps about my looks.  Running a small business left very little time for grooming and pampering, and not only was my hair a hot mess, my skin was finicky and always breaking out.

AFTER my Verve Makeover I have received HUNDREDS of compliments, from props on the new bangs to my new glowing complexion, and I have Verve and my stylist Alyssa to thank.

Not only did my drab do get updated, I took home a plethora of new products for my hair and skin!

To keep my sometimes oily hair fresh and moisturized I got Bumble & Bumble’s Seaweed Shampoo and Conditioner, and find I can make it 2 days without washing it (that’s actually really good for your hair, I’m not just a lazy hippy), especially with the Brown Hair Powder to freshen things up. And to keep the formerly straggley ends nice and smooth I took home some Morrocan Hair Oil, perfect for after the shower to detangle, and it smells oh so lovely.

I have always sought out natural skin care products because I find the chemicals, dyes, and fragrances irritate my skin and cause breakouts.  I was thrilled to find that Verve carries only natural skincare and makeup products by Yonka Paris and Jane Iredale.  The Pure Creme moisturizer is the best I have ever come across in my many years of product procurement.  Because of the essential oils it melts into the skin, instead of leaving a greasy layer, and it smells ever so peaceful.  I saw my skin clearing up right away.

Make-up can be the trickiest to find especially if you want natural AND coverage.  Jane Iredale’s mineral makeup has changed my life.  I know people keep saying I’m glowing because of the Sunbeam Bronzer, with the perfect amount of pink, bronze, and irridescent tones.

So with a month of fresh hair and glowing skin under my belt I was ready to kick it up a notch!  I was ready for bolder highlights, and…..FEATHER EXTENSIONS!  Verve has a great variety of the highly coveted feather extensions, that come in colorful sets of 4, for ONLY $25!  Trust me, I’ve been pricing around and THIS is a deal!

It took mere minutes to add them in, and I was told they will last for weeks, possibly months, through washing and styling.  They recommend you come back in to have them removed.  I don’t see that happening anytime soon, because I love the bohemian flair it adds to my look!

Be sure to call one of my favorite salons in pittsburgh that do feather extensions, Verve360 and book your transformation today!
