Smooth Away Those Flyaways: Defrizz!

This week I got to experience one of Bumble and Bumble‘s products, Defrizz.  Having naturally curly hair, nothing makes me angrier than spending half an hour styling, going outside, and then having my hair look like a stray poodle in need of a grooming within minutes due to rain and humidity.  Bumble and Bumble’s Defrizz was put to the test as I walked the streets of Pittsburgh in the rain, cowering under my umbrella, and  I can honestly say, it passed the test!

Verve 360 is the only exclusively bumble and bumble salons Pittsburgh has. Verve 360 carries Bumble and Bumble products because of their natural, holistic approach to hair care. If you have naturally curly or frizzy hair, this may be your token hair care item.  Defrizz has the power to work against the humidity to leave your hair feeling soft and smooth while taming flyaways.

WHO should use Defrizz?

  • People with curly hair or hair that is prone to frizz.

WHEN should you apply Defrizz?

  • Before, during or after styling.

HOW should you apply Defrizz?

  • Evenly rub a dime-sized drop through damp or dry hair.

What I like about the product is that only a small amount is needed for maximum protection.  Personally, I like to apply the serum before blow drying.  In the morning, I would apply the recommended dime-sized drop, and that little bit was enough to protect my hair from the rain and humidity all day!

Also, I have very long hair that I frequently straighten.  The straightening process often makes my hair feel rough and dry.  After I used Defrizz, I could tell that my hair felt significantly softer and smoother.  It also prevented my hair from tangling.

Other issues I have with my hair are the  flyaways and split ends near my face.  I have sidebangs, and from years of straightening them, many of the hairs have broken off or split.  The Defrizz serum helped smooth them away easily.  I would recommend Bumble and Bumble’s Defrizz to anyone who was looking to achieve smooth, silky locks.
