The stylists at Verve are true pros, ready to give you any look you may crave.  As a make up enthusiast, I wanted to see if I could wear natural make up without appearing to be completely “made up.”

Starting with a tinted moisturizer rather than a heavy foundation, Kim applied the  dream tint spf 15 tinted moisturizer in ‘light’ with a smooth foundation brush.  This product evened out my skin beautifully, and went on just like a light moisturizer.

Kim continued with a four tone bronzer in ‘moonglow’ to “give contour to the face”, and simply applied it to my cheeks and slightly beyond.  Instead of loading my face with color, Jane Iredale’s bronzers give you just enough contour to stay with that natural look.

The top of my eye lids were then lined the black/brown liquid liner, which went on extremely smooth, I couldn’t even feel it! Kim explained that a dab more of a pencil liner in ‘black/brown’ or ‘basic black’ could simply take me from day to night.

To finish off the eyes, my eyes were dusted with glimmer gold purepressed eyeshadow from the crease to the contour line.  The gold shade blended perfectly with my skin tone, almost appearing natural.

After Kim finished my eyes with a light dose of longest lash thickening and lengthening mascara, we ended with lips.  Like some women, I have a slight fear of lipstick since Grandma left stains on my cheek.  However, Kim eased my tension with a darker liner around my lips in the ‘nutmeg’ shade, and a nude toned lipstick, ‘Julia’, that felt just like a lip moisturizer.  After blended together, my lips looked full and lovely, but not overpowering.  Perfect for my want of a natural look.  I even got to take home a sheet saying every product that was used on me, and how to apply it!
