Verve Stylist Makes It Big!

Everyone knows that Verve 360 has one amazing staff, and one of Verve’s very own stylists recently went on the road with American Eagle!

Alyssa Kraus has been at Verve since last October, serving as a stylist for hair, makeup and nails, and she’s even an esthetician! Working in Pittsburgh, Alyssa was graced with the opportunity to style for American Eagle Outfitters, whose headquarters are also located in the Steel City.

Upon styling a campaign for the outfitters, Alyssa learned that American Eagle is more than just a retail store. Along with 4 other stylists from New York City, Alyssa was sent to Nashville to work on the new “We the People” campaign.

“The amazing part about spending time with those people was realizing they are just like everyone else,” said Alyssa. “Actually, some of them aren’t models at all. They are waiters, waitresses, students, musicians, mothers, friends and so much more. That is the whole idea created behind the “We The People” campaign. You don’t have to be famous, or a stick figure, or a “model” to be beautiful!”

For an entire week, Alyssa and her new colleagues styled in many different locations, traveling on their “set on wheels.” Alyssa successfully styled women and men, focusing on keeping a natural look. Alyssa even used Bumble and Bumble products, just as she does at Verve!
