Pilates Chair Class!

Verve has perfected the art of Pilates and now to spice up their workout classes they’ve added some equipment! The Pilates chair has been added to the studio and is sure to give all Pilates’ enthusiasts an extra push in their workout routine.

The Pilates chair, also referred to as the wundo chair, was created to add resistance to the typical Pilates workout routine. The Pilates chair is typically made out of wood with a pedal on the side (the pedal is what creates the resistance during your workout), and it doubles as a regular seating chair—how cool is that?

The chair ultimately offers its users strength and balance. Chair exercises create a faster heart rate during the workout, which means a larger amount of calories burned. By using this routine you will see progress primarily in your arms and legs. Your legs will look longer and leaner, and you’ll notice more flexibility. Because of the increased upper body strength during the workout your arms will become more defined as you master the chair. You’ll see phenomenal results in your triceps and deltoids.

Verve Pilates Pittsburgh offers classes with and without the chair all year long. Pricing for Verve’s chair classes are $40 for one class, $180 for five classes, and $320 for ten classes—special pricing is available for Verve Members! Once you’ve mastered a standard Pilates class focus on a chair class! You won’t be disappointed once you see the results!
