In the late 1990’s Bumble and Bumble’s editorial stylists made quite the statement on the runways by exposing a hairstylists best kept secret: the pin. This holiday season, Bumble and Bumble is paying “homage to their ground-breaking ingenuity” with their Pin Tin.

The tin includes 50 winter white pins and a fabulous how-to-guide for styling help. The pins are a mix of different sizes. The 3 inch hair pins are best used to support heavy updos, like a low bun. A simple twist or elegant chignon can be tacked down with the 2 inch hair pins that will add the perfect amount of spice to your look.

A bobby pin has two different sides, one wavy and one flat. It can be worn decoratively with either side exposed. These 2.5 inch pins do double duty by holding your look in place while adding a trendy hint of white. The tin also includes a slightly smaller 2 inch bobby pin that is best worn decoratively.It might hold down a few fly-aways, but you are better off to just accessorize with those ones.

Apply product, like Bumble and Bumble’s Texture, onto damp hair. Use a comb to create a deep side part and S-shaped waves around your face. Fasten those waves with your decorative pins. Then use the diffuser attachment on your favorite blow dryer to set the look completely. Finish it off by spritzing your do with some hairspray and off you go!
