Fly Your Way To Confidence

If you could have one super power what would it be? Reading minds? Time Traveling? For me, it would have to be the power to fly. Sadly, I will never be granted this magical ability to soar through the air…or will I?

From April 17 to May 8, Verve will be offering a workshop in Introductory Patvan (Flying) Yoga, taught by Maddy Landi.

Patvan Yoga focuses on postures while using fabric hammocks suspended by a single point in order to expand, stretch and strengthen your body. The postures help to build up your body’s core and your balance. In addition to being good for the body, Patvan Yoga is also good for the mind. You will learn how to trust your inner strengths, and gain a sense of understanding of how much internal strength you posses. Since you are suspended in the air, you will avoid common yoga related injuries associated with compression of weight bearing joints and reduce your injuries.

The workshop offers a variety of classes, so that people from all different levels of experience can participate. The classes range from novice to expert levels, so that no matter your background, you can fly right into the swing of things.

Space is limited, so if you are interested in this workshop, visit Verve, the best Pittsburgh salon, to sign up today!
